well…i’ve been quiet for a bit, for a number of reasons..
Mostly I’ve been up in Queensland for a week and a bit for my mother’s 50th. Was a very fun, zero stress holiday. Probably the best I’ve had in a long, long time….at some point I’ll have pictures up.
Other than that I’ve just been working, and playing Civ III – and the latter tends to completely suck up your time. You’ll sit down to play it, and next thing you know it’s 7 in the morning and you haven’t blinked for 4 hours.
Had a work social club family day thing today at Weston park…it was quite pleasant, apart from a brief period in which someone’s 4 year old disapeared, but she turned up pretty quickly and all was good again.
It’s hot…it’s currently 5:30pm, and it’s still 33C, It looks like summer has hit pretty hard already….it was hot up in Queensland too…but there was always somewhere cool you could sit at Mum and Dad’s place…but here there’s nowhere….everywhere inside is hot, and there’s no shade outside….blah.
