I just love it when my hosting provider randomly rolls back the state of the filesystem on my server to what is was a week ago.

It makes me so happy…..

Those that were quick enough may have noticed I posted the first part of my trip report from the Incentive trip in February.
Unfortunately, that post was made on one of the missing days – the days between the 3rd – my most recent backup, and the 5th – the day the server was rolled back to the 30th of last month. So until I can be bothered doing it again, it’s gone.
I probably won’t get round to it till after Conflux.
I probably won’t get round to much at all till after Conflux. Especially now that I’ve had to waste another four days trying to merge my backups in to the state of the server.

I am becoming increasingly unhappy with my provider, and if it weren’t for the fact that it’s too late to be messing around with these things so close to Conflux, would have left them by now.
After two years of pretty good availability, I’ve been plagued with poor availability, poor customer support and general incompetance. It’s really beginning to piss me off.
I would just like to go two weeks in a row without a new issue coming up.

Surely that isn’t too much to ask for?
