It’s only taken me close to six years, but I finally got some net curtains for the front windows.
Now I can actually open the front curtains without having everyone who walks past see every intimate detail of my life.
The real bonus is that the morning sun comes in those windows, so it’ll make the house much warmer in winter.
When comparing spending hours outside in the freezing cold or stinking heat, sweeping leaves and watching out for spiders, plus shoving a lawn mower around and pulling up weeds and triming and pruning…
…to sitting back and watching someone else do it all – and far more throughly than I was ever going to – and handing them $150 at the end, I think I choose not.
I really should have done it that way years ago ;)
