Restraint

Every month around this time I get overly optimistic about how much money I’ll have left by payday, and get the urge to go buy something that it later turns out I couldn’t actually afford.
This month, that something is Cakewalk Sonar Producer Edition ($US499).
However, I’m going to have some willpower, and will put it on the “maybe” list for next month, assuming I can buy it, and still come out positive financially.

I am fairly committed to buying it pretty soon though – it’s been too long since I’ve been able to do any serious music work.
