I think however, that I'll be giving the iPhone a miss this time round - if I hadn't seen the Viewity then I'd definitely be waiting for it, but I have, so I won't. Most of the time I am on Wi Fi and when I am not and surfing the web (which can be slow) I use a service called Iphoneiquity (www.thesmespace.com/smeutils/iphoneiqutiy) which compresses any website and formats it for the Iphone. Tried anything like that? eg. a sweep of perhaps some kind of strings instrument, with an really slow volume and pan sweep, kinda like the way a loud car passes a stationary listener, except not sounding like a car. Visit my office next week and I'll play an mp3 that demonstrates exactly what I mean. I also liked how it didn't try to get too melodic or complex.
